...as you can see, my subscription thingamabobber is over now, so I have to resort back to plain gray-and-black journal-ing 
It's okay though.
I haven't been doing much around here, although I did upload a few pictures since I last wrote. With the pressures of school and music, I haven't found much time to do ANYTHING artistic. Pooh
But once summer rolls around, I'll try to do something to celebrate, yes?
Besides, the world will not be much the poorer for the lack of my atrocious scribblings. It's my friends--*cough* Izzy *cough*--who must upload something new soon, or else something terrible might happen (I can't think of what exactly, at this moment, but I'll get around to it, never fear).
Meanwhile, this is just to let you know that I have not died (I'm still looking through my subscriptions and favorite-ing loads of terrific art
), and also so that I don't get tired of looking at that "It's about time I changed my journal..." entry from last November.
So au revoir, mes amis (is that right? My French, like my art skills, is atrocious >.<)

Clubs--
Well. The reason why I haven't updated for so long is I wanted to wait until I had the time and the inclination to fiddle around with the CSS a bit and fix some major galumping problems with my current CSS. As you can see, I decided to leave it close to as is--at least for now--and just go ahead and write something.
What's new with me:
I'm doing NaNoWriMo for the second time this year: www.nanowrimo.org. It isn't too late to join if you want to. There have been multiple persons who have finished 50,000 words in less than, what is it, 19 days? (I personally am rather behind, as well)
Anyway.
I was suddenly inspired to draw for some odd reason today, after months of idleness. And my newest deviation is a little profile of two of my favorite pet characters--Soren and Sera Luverdi. They're not my main characters, but I make it a rule never to draw my main characters--I know I'll just be disappointed. with supporting characters, however, I don't really mind if the quality isn't that great--which it never is, anyhow. The whole idea is just to have a likeness of them, no matter how inaccurate or unasthetically pleasing.
Actually, I kind of like how Sera turned out. Soren's hair is weird, though. Argh. Oh well.
And now for one of those fun little journal games that people pass around:

23 deviations and 32 messages. That was on my front page when I visited dA today. Thought that was rather interesting.
Anyhoo...I was going to learn some new CSS tricks today, but I decided I had no time to do anything but try out a lovely background
donated as a prize for :iconxxordorfxx:'s contest. This is really one of the loveliest pictures in the packet, in my opinion I think I'll wait until next Sunday, perhaps, before I learn how to do all the fancy schmancy stuff. I usually change CSS's on Sundays.

I thought this was one of the best--if not THE best--picture in her gallery. Such a pretty pink flower (those who know me well know I have a soft spot for pinks), and it's shaded so beautifully too!
This one was just too cute. Who wouldn't want to pick up the poor sad kitty and give him a hug?
I love nature photographs, and this one definitely caught my attention. I like the way everything's half-covered in snow.
This picture was lovely--and so realistic, too. I especially liked the subject matter and the pose--the sisters look so close
This looked good enough to eat. Such an appropriate picture for the theme: summer

Script Frenzy started on April Fools (when naive people like me everywhere thought the mudkip invasion was the result of a very malicious, very determined hacker >.<), but I got a late start due to a competition I had to focus on over the weekend.
I plan to really start now, though.
I know is doing it this year (yay!) and also a friend of mine, 
. If there's anyone else doing it, it would be fun to hear from you

Okey dokey, so...it's Sunday once again, and once again, I'm playing with CSS. I found a new resource. Two, actually. One led me to the other: forum.deviantart.com/community… and www.icyworlds.net/about/css There's a TON of great info out there on the 'net. It's amazing I'm still not satisfied with the way my journal looks (I spent about 3 hours on this one), but I'm still learning, so expect more CSS experiments in the near future
Anyhoo,, one of my favorite photographers on dA, recently suggested a fun feature thing in her journal rebeldork.deviantart.com/journ… that I thought would be interesting to do. (edit: Oh, and plus--I just discovered that I'm at 1K pageviews, so you can consider this a little comething special that I'm doing to celebrate that. Though I didn't think of it at the time)

:thumb63104144: This is one of my all-time favorite's from Ceci's gallery. I love the graceful profile, the hair curls, and all the pretty colors (especially cheery yellow!). Besides, I've never before seen a silhouette done quite like this. It's a very unique portrait, you must admit

:thumb79380294: Even though this is only a pencil sketch, I like the way the figures are sketched--especially the nebulous woman-figure. I'd like to see it colored perhaps
